COUNTRY HOME AND GARDEN

When we built our current storefront in 2012, it gave us more floor space and the opportunity to expand what we carried.  Home & Garden, and Hardware & Automotive are the 2 facets that benefitted the most from the expansion. 

We now stock a variety of home and garden tools, by makers such as Garant, Aurora, and Pinebush.  Shovels, rakes, garden forks, edging tools, trimmers, pruners, hoses, sprinklers, and watering cans are just some of the items you will find. 

Garden seeds supplied by OSC (Ontario Seed Co.) in Waterloo can be found from January to July. Supporting products include seed trays, gloves, fertilizers, tomato cages, twines, soil test kits, kneeling pads, garden hose, garden sprayers, sprays and so much more!

Proud to support local – Our lawn seed is supplied by Pickseed Canada.  Our biggest seller is one that used to be a “house blend” specialty known around here as “the Long Point mix”, and is now a Pickseed proprietary mix called Grow Green.  It’s a mix perfectly suited for our ground that ranges from clay to sand, and withstands dry conditions quite well.

Other items for around the home include thermometers and rain gauges, garbage bags, yard waste bags, water softener salts, unique gift items, bat houses, local art, rodent and pest control, and a fence centre to highlight just a bit.
