Port Rowan is home to the national organization Birds Canada, and is also a World Biosphere Reserve.  Our area is renowned among bird watcher’s world wide, and we’re here to help you enjoy the natural wonders of birding.  Maybe you will even become one of Birds Canada’s “Backyard Scientists”! 

Situated under a major migratory path for a staggering number of North American species, bird watching is a year-round pleasure that more and more people are now experiencing. During spring and fall migrations, you never know what rare species may show up at your feeder!  And while you are waiting to spot that next “lifer”, you will see an amazing array of colour flocking to your feeders.

We have everything you need to get started enjoying the birds in your own back yard – Port Rowan Birds approved.  We keep over 100 styles of bird feeders in stock (another locally famous fact!), designed to attract every species you may see.  The wide selection includes the brand names Perky Pet, Pinebush, Stokes, More Birds and Audobon.  Whether you want to see songbirds, orioles, hummingbirds, blue jays, cardinals, finches, woodpeckers and more, we have a feeder for every need.  And the feed to fill them!

The majority of our suets and mixed seed blends are supplied by Hagersville, Ontario company Armstrong Milling Co. Ltd.  We also stock various sizes of straight sunflowers, millet, safflower, peanuts (both in the shell and out of shell) and nyjer.
