ALL THINGS LIVESTOCK

Keeping the tradition of our roots, we still offer feed for livestock.  Whether it’s a flock of chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese or guinea fowl; a herd of cattle or horses, or a few pigs, we keep a selection of products available to feed them.  As well as our long-term relationship with Purina (now Agribrands) feed, we also carry TriCounty brand feeds, associated with Shur-Gain. 

Aside from complete feeds and supplements, we also stock salts, chick grit, beet pulp, bran, and oyster shell, with access to even more product. 

It has been a long-standing tradition for us to partake in “chick days”, bringing live (pre-ordered) baby chicks and ready to lay hens in bi-weekly throughout March to October.  These live birds, including various breeds of turkeys, Muscovy ducks and ring-neck pheasants are supplied by Frey’s Hatchery in St. Jacobs.  We’ve been working with Frey’s for over 40 years, and value their quality, service and family tradition values that match ours. 

Raising poultry comes with it’s own set of needs, so you will also find in stock feeders, waterers, heat lamp shades and bulbs, incubators, nest boxes, egg baskets and cartons, and more.
